Amanda King is the Clinician that serves the Suffolk, Virginia office. Amanda grew up in Crittenden and currently resides in Chesapeake with her husband and her black lab, Luna.
Amanda has been in the hearing healthcare field for a decade and she has a strong clinical background focused on audiometry and hearing aid modifications. Amanda has developed a true compassion for helping people who have difficulties with their hearing and/or understanding ability. She was born with a hearing impairment that directly affected her quality of life. She understands first-hand the communication difficulties and the isolation that can occur with hearing problems. She finds the most rewarding part of her profession to be the benefits her patients receive once they are able to hear and understand their loved ones.
Amanda performs hearing evaluations, rehabilitation and provides individualized attention to those with a hearing loss. She takes her time explaining the testing process and results, and always allows enough time to answer questions thoroughly.
Amanda is accepting new patients and welcomes the opportunity to help those who hear conversation but have trouble understanding it.
