Rick Stone is a Hearing Instrument specialist who serves the Cary, NC office. He has lived in the Lee County area for 59 years, is married and has raised four wonderful children.
He was born and raised in North Carolina and has successfully completed an advanced training course at Avada Training Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.
He is committed to help those with speech understanding problems lead a fuller life. By combining integrity and compassion, he has a unique ability to explain the strategies of treating hearing loss. He understands the importance of taking the time to really listen to his patients. Rick creates an environment where open and honest communication can take place and his patients can make decisions about their speech understanding needs without feeling rushed or pressured.
Rick’s knowledge in communication disorders has helped a wide range of patients, including both adults and children with hearing loss. Here at Avada, he provides screenings, a full battery of hearing tests, aural rehabilitation and has an expansive knowledge of both conventional and digital hearing instruments. Expertly trained in the new wireless hearing instrument connectivity technology, he has a distinctive approach to demonstrating how today’s modern hearing devices connect directly to his patients cell phones, home phones or televisions.
With over 30 years in the Customer Service field, Rick is now an expert in early detection and treatment of speech understanding problems. He is accepting new patients and welcomes the opportunity to help those who hear conversation but have trouble understanding it.
